Representing Landowners Affected by ESSO Oil Pipeline

We are representing a number of landowners affected by the ESSO oil pipeline which is being built over the next twelve months to take oil from Southampton to London. The construction teams are expected to gain entry over the next few weeks to start the removal of trees and shrubs outside the bird nesting season, and prior to the trenching works which will start later in the year.

Thinning Programme

We have undertaken a thinning programme on the Estate woodlands over the past few months. The thinning has been mainly focused on the ash trees that were affected by “ash dieback“, a fungus known as hymenoscyphus fraxineus. The wood was sold as logs and after the cost of extraction produced a good income. The Estate will continue with the thinning programme this summer and plans to undertake a replanting scheme during the winter of 2023.

Paw Paddock

We are delighted to announce that over next few months a dedicated paddock for walking dogs will be set up on the Moundsmere Estate. We are working with Paw Paddocks https://pawpaddock.co.uk to provide an exclusive, enclosed and secure dog walking area with wonderful views across Hampshire.
