SFI and FiPL 2026 Updates Released

DEFRA has announced the Sustainable Farming Incentive will come back in June, open to small farms and those without a scheme already in place. A second window will open in September. The 2026 offer will be a simplified version with fewer actions available than in previous schemes.
The Farming in Protected Landscapes programme will be extended for another three years, ensuring funding is available to enhance nature recovery, tackle climate change and preserving cultural heritage across England's National Landscapes and National Parks.
